What is the Process for New Patients?
We strive to make the process for new patients as seamless as possible. To ensure a smooth experience, please follow these steps:
Call the UTI/Kidney Stone Clinic at 208-667-0621 before your visit to expedite the process.
- Screening: New patients will be quickly screened by a North Idaho Urology (NIU) provider to ensure their symptoms are appropriate for the UTI/Kidney Stone clinic and do not require a higher level of care or an emergency room visit.
- Insurance and ID: Insurance cards and a photo ID are required. Insurance will be verified to ensure that North Idaho Urology (NIU) participates with your insurance and that there is coverage for any necessary lab tests.
- Required Forms: Completed forms, including demographics, medical history, HIPAA consent for treatment, financial forms and the UTI clinic questionnaire, are required for your visit.
- Ongoing Relationship: After your first UTI clinic visit, an ongoing patient-provider relationship is required to continue receiving care.
